Before we arrive

Six things to keep with you.

We do not transport these categories. Take them with you, or lock them somewhere we won't enter.
01

Firearms

All firearms and ammunition. We will not transport or store these.

02

Jewelry

Rings, watches, heirloom pieces, loose stones — anything you would not replace from a claim.

03

Cash & valuables

Currency, bullion, bonds, deeds, passports, and any irreplaceable paperwork.

04

Personal items

Diaries, photo albums on your person, letters, anything deeply private.

05

Medications

Prescription and non-prescription drugs — including controlled substances.

06

Anything meaningful

If it would hurt to lose it, take it with you when you leave the home.

Tell the team leader

Four kinds of items we want flagged.

Point these out to the on-site team leader before we begin. We document them first, then handle with extra care.
A

Antiques

Family pieces, period furniture, anything older than you are. We document condition before it moves.

B

Fragile items

China, glassware collections, porcelain, original art, sculpture, instruments.

C

Sentimental items

If a replacement value doesn't capture what something means to you, tell us.

D

Unusual value

Anything where the insurance line item won't reflect the real number — flag it.

Our promise

What we do with everything you trust us with.

Four commitments that hold on every job. This is how the work runs, intake through walkthrough.
01

We document everything.

Photo log per room, condition notes per item, barcoded labels on every box. You and the adjuster see the same record.

02

We store it safely.

Everything we keep goes to our climate-controlled warehouse. Available for inspection by you or your adjuster at any time.

03

We dispose only on approval.

Items that aren't salvageable are removed and discarded only after you and the insurance company sign off — never on our own.

04

We return it the way we found it.

Furniture that came apart for transport goes back together the same way. Boxes are returned to the rooms they came from.

On the day

A few logistics that keep things calm.

The packout itself runs smoothly when these four things are handled. None are negotiable for safety and chain-of-custody reasons.
01

Be on site, or send someone you trust.

We strongly recommend a homeowner or a trusted representative is present during the packout. It speeds decisions and protects you.

02

Pets crated or off-site.

Please have any pets either crated or off the property during the packout. We are not responsible for pets on site.

03

Elevators reserved through building.

For high-rise and condo work, we coordinate elevator use directly with building management per their rules.

04

Keys live in a lockbox.

Any keys we need for our crew or subcontractors are stored in a lockbox at our office — not in trucks, not in pockets.

Set expectations

Three things we don't do by default.

We are a contents restoration division, not a moving company. Any of these can be added to scope — ask first.
A

We don't unpack boxes.

Boxes are returned to the room they belong in. Unpacking is only done if specific arrangements have been approved with the adjuster before the packout begins.

B

Our cleaning is light, not white-glove.

Packout cleaning means dusting and surface wipe-downs. If you want detailed cleaning, ask — we can scope that as a separate service.

C

Specialty items get specialists.

Some content — pianos, fine art, certain electronics — needs a specialty restoration vendor. We coordinate, you approve.

Process

Scope. Pack. Clean. Return.

Four stages, one project manager, one phone number. Documented at every handoff.
Day 0

Scope on site.

We walk the property with you and the adjuster, photograph in place, and agree on what moves, what stays, what gets discarded.

Day 1

Inventory & pack.

Room-by-room inventory with photos, condition notes, and barcoded box labels. Glassware boxed carefully. Furniture disassembled where needed.

Day 2+

Transport & clean.

Climate-controlled transport to our facility. Items processed through the right system — ultrasonic, Esporta, ozone, hydroxyl, or hand cleaning.

Return

Reassemble at home.

White-glove return to the restored property. Furniture reassembled the same way it was taken apart. Boxes returned to their original rooms.

Our facility

Nine systems your contents pass through.

Different materials need different cleaning systems. We match the method to the loss, not the other way around.
01
System

Climate-controlled storage

Temperature and humidity regulated so secondary damage doesn't happen on our watch.

02
System

HEPA-filtered clean rooms

Particulate-free processing for sensitive items. Medical-grade air filtration throughout.

03

Ozone chambers

Industrial ozone for deep odor remediation from smoke, fire, and biological sources.

04
System

Hydroxyl generators

Safer odor control for occupied or sensitive materials — no residue.

05
System

Ultrasonic cleaning

Precision cavitation cleaning for electronics, fine art, collectibles, and delicates.

06
System

Esporta wash system

Specialized soft-goods restoration for textiles, leather, and fabrics — back to pre-loss condition.

07
System

Thermal fogging

Penetrating deodorization that reaches anywhere smoke molecules traveled.

08
System

EPA-registered disinfection

Anti-microbial treatments applied per manufacturer spec, verified against bacteria, viruses, and mold.

09
System

Barcoded vaulting

Secure, catalogued storage. Every item accounted for from intake through return.

Water-loss categories

Cat. 2 and Cat. 3 contents handling.

The category of the water decides what is salvageable and what is not. We document, treat, and report per IICRC S500.
Category 2

Gray water

Contaminated water from appliances, washing-machine overflow, dishwasher discharge, aquarium ruptures. Requires controlled cleaning, antimicrobial treatment, and professional drying.

Category 3

Black water

Grossly contaminated water — sewage, external flooding, toilet overflow with solids. Requires full PPE, containment, controlled demolition, and EPA-registered disinfection per IICRC S500.

Homeowner guide

A one-page summary you can keep on the fridge.

“We treat your belongings like they are our own. We want this transition to be as smooth as possible for you.”— Jane Nesbitt, Contents Processing Tech / Office Manager
